As we all know that the University of Ibadan has finally opened their portal for registration after long wait by aspirants, this is to let you know that the portal is now functional for the registration of Post UTME.
To register for your post utme, you are advised to make use of a cyber cafe, but their charges can be overwhelming sometimes, that's why this post is for those that does not have the luxury to go to a cyber cafe.
You will be guided on how to register for your post UTME with your android phone at the comfort of your home.
STEP 1: For you to be able to register yourself without any problem later, you will need to use a reliable browser. Here Google Chrome is the most advisable browser to use because you can easily change it to a desktop site, changing it to a desktop site will make it possible to show the portal just as it will be if you're using a computer.
Note: for those who might not know how to change to desktop site on chrome, once you open the browser you will see a three dot by the top right side, click on it and towards down you will see desktop site, check the box, it will reload then you can have you content in desktop format.
STEP 2: Go to the UI undergraduate portal website https://admissions.ui.edu.ng/, login with your details i.e your JAMB registration number and your Surname.
STEP 3: Once you are in, you will see the notification for the payment of your POST UTME form and portal fee, click on it and it will take you to the next page which is the REMITA page
STEP 4: Enter you card details i.e your card name (the name on your ATM card), your card number (those numbers in front of you ATM card) and your CVV i.e the three numbers at the back of your ATM card (Note: do not share with anyone)
NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY USE A VISA CREDIT CARD AND A MASTER CREDIT CARD, VERVE CARD IS NOT ALLOWED.
STEP 5: Make sure you have more than the stipulated amount for registration as REMITA will charge you for the transaction, it's advisable to have up to #5000 or more in the ATM card
STEP 6: Once your transaction is successful, you will be able to see your RRR number/code, please you are advised to copy out this number or screenshot the page for easy access. This code is important as it is the retrieval code that will be used if there's any problem with your payment. You can also download the REMITA receipt if you wish just to be on a save side.
After following this steps, by now you should have been able to make your payment successfully without any problem, and you are to download the receipt for the successful payment of Post UTME form
NOTE: WHENEVER YOU ARE PAYING FOR YOUR POST UTME FORM WITH YOUR PHONE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD NETWORK ON YOUR PHONE, ITS MORE ADVISABLE TO USE A 4G PHONES BUT OTHERWISE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION TO AVOID LOSS OF INFORMATION
